I have suffered with insomnia since I was in about 4th grade. Seeing as I’m 24 now, I have tried many different tactics over the years. These include methods such as relaxing cassette tapes/ CDs, Benadryl, meditation, no phone before bedtime, and in recent years, ASMR (nullifying the ‘no phone before bed tactic’). Better sleep hygiene and ASMR did the trick for a long time but after a while I became “immune” to ASMR and my sleep was getting bad again.
